I am who I am because of my dad, my co pilot. He never was a pilot or a mechanic but when he asked me what I wanted to do with my life and I told him I wanted to be a pilot he said, "then you better be one". He always backed me up 100%. If something went wrong he was the first person I called and he always had my back. I took him on a flight every summer and at 92 this last summer we went on a flight from Aurora to Elensberg Wa., low level, around mt. Adams, through the hills, skimming the tree tops a beautiful day with nothing but a look of wonder at the land below, like a dog with the window open he loved to fly. Never complained, never criticized, tail always wagging, unconditional love, he will be missed.
