Hung the wings on Friday with some help from my friends, these are one of those jobs that it is good to have some extra hands around.
Next is to get all the flight controls bellcranks, bearings, and rigging completed. On the 53 Cessna 180 the tail wheel is steered by a left and a right cable that runs from a strap at the bottom of the rudder Bellcrank which at the same point the left and right rudder cables attach. Since the pull to the tail wheel is not in the same line as the rudder cable this has a tendency to wear the bellcrank by the turn barrel fork. I thought about updating by tail bulkhead to a later model but sometimes you have just had to say no.
