Coming to a close
Our 180J project is coming to a close and is looking very good. This 180J is about as new as they come. Built in 1974 and then did not make it out of a lake in Alaska in 1981 from there it went from the back of a hanger and became a pet project of the previous owner. From that time on it was slowly reassembled and repaired by many long time Seattle area mechanics but no one could ever complete the job. When it came to us it was a complete but in many way incomplete project. It seemed every time we went to do something the part was wrong or it didn’t fit. There is nothing in this plane that is not new and there is nothing in this plane we have not touched. To many things have been done to list.
