Not all installations are as straight forward as they may seem. This 1953, 7000 + hour 180 was no exception. Here we installed the QMI horizontal tail reinforcement kit as well as replacing the inside bracket as well. The right side was in good shape but the left side was repaired in the past, this posed a problem in that the location of the hinge hole had to be found or use the old bracket as a guide. We used the old bracket as a guide and this proved to be a mistake. Long story short it took longer than expected
