Sea plane bushings
There was a time I believe that the more engine rubber isolators the better but today everyone should have their engine balanced to their propeller. This is usually done by a propeller shop or a local with the proper equipment. When this is done the difference can be life changing, I also feel it makes the old rubber fire wall bushing obsolete. If you have ever seen a cowl with two wear holes below the lower engine cowl spinner ring this is because at one time then engine sagged so much the engine bolt heads on the little cover plate wore through the cowl. Also the lower engine mount bolts will wear through the lower cowl…..No more sagging engine……
