The story…

This 180 was damaged after take off from a lake in Alaska in 1989 and not long after that fateful day it was purchased by a friend of mine and for the next 30 years he had the airframe completely rebuilt by the best talent in the Seattle area. As what can happen with projects it languished in a shop for several years before he brought it to us to complete. After some personal issues he sold the project to us. The devil is in the details and 90% of any job is the last 10% and when buying a project no matter how complete you think it is there is always something. After 3 years of work we have it in the air. The goal is to get 25 hours on the plane before sale to make sure we have all the little bugs worked out and the plane is completely trouble free. This 180 is about as close you will ever get to a new 180. Super clean, nothing has been over looked, everything is new and she flies like it. The panel is equipped with 2 G5’s,(no more vacuum system!), EI CGR30P, GMA 345, GTN650, GTR 205, GTX345. And a pile of STC’s. It is truly one of a kind. We still need to get to the 25 hours of flight time we want on the plane before sale and to know that the plane is trouble free and the engine is broken in. If interested send me an email.
