We had a chance to fly with one of customers from Alaska and take him to a few of our local spots we like go. Had a great time.
After a 1000 miles one way we picked up a 180 that has been sitting for 10 years. A Montana ranchers plane, he landed where only Buffalo and Indians roamed. The goal is a newly overhauled engine a handful of STC’s and a clean bill of health then back to the prairie.
Put the final pieces back together on the 182, what a chore but it feels good to get it done now we can move on with all the work that has been backing up behind the 182. 2/3 of the work is putting the 182 back together, never goes back the same and always having…
The Champ is back in the Air! The O 235 sounds so sweet and when you get to run it a full throttle for a few hours to break in the cylinders it is even better. And the boss is back up and running after a brief hiatus in the lazy boy…..Ribs are still talking…
We are in the process of installing a Talian Leading edge and just completed a horizontal rebuild, it takes time…
After months of rehab 61A is getting near the end. As usual the last 10% is 90% of the job but it is all coming together. Overhauled gear from Landing gear works…..not cheap but not bent…
